Federal Workers Emergency Loan Program

GLCU partnered with The Illinois State Treasurer’s Office in offering members or prospective new members impacted by the government shutdown with a discounted rate on approved loans.

Loan details:

• Up to $5,000
• 0% APR¹
• 90 days until first payment
• Up to 24-month term
• Must qualify based on credit
• Primary borrower must be an impacted federal employee

Required Documentation:

• Most recent federal government pay stub

Exclusions Apply:

• Cannot refinance or add to an existing GLCU loan
• Other loan types are not eligible
• Only available to Illinois residents
