Special Loan Program for Federal Employees Impacted by Government Shutdown
GLCU partnered with The Illinois State Treasurer’s Office in offering members or prospective new members impacted by the government shutdown with a discounted rate on approved loans.
Loan details:
- Up to $5,000
- 0% APR1
- 90 days until first payment
- Up to 24-month term
- Must qualify based on credit
- Primary borrower must be an impacted federal employee
Required Documentation:
- Most recent federal government pay stub
Exclusions Apply:
- Cannot refinance or add to an existing GLCU loan
- Other loan types are not eligible
- Only available to Illinois residents
